An Introduction to this newsletter / blog.

Welcome to More Than Words. I’ve been writing stories about growing up in a Junkyard for a few years and am going to publish a collection of them soon in a memoir titled Junkyard Girl.

I also write musings on topics I often mull over while I watch the sunrise or just have to get down on paper during one of my many writing group sessions.

I find that when I write, it is so much more than words on my computer screen. Words help me clarify who I am, what I think and why. They assist me in better understanding the world around me. They allow me to often dig deeper to find what is underneath the story.

I am also creating this space — to not just fill with my words — but also to find my tribe. I know from my 35+ career owning a public relations and marketing consultancy the value of finding your tribe — especially when I am soon to publish my first book : )
